To help increase local knowledge of the California Environmental Quality Act, Foothill Conservancy is co-sponsoring a one-day CEQA workshop at the Jackson Civic Center on Tuesday, October 29. Our co-sponsors are Farms of Amador, the Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians, and the Sacramento law firm of Remy, Moose & Manley LLP.
The workshop, offered through UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education, will be taught by Antero (Terry) Rivasplata. Terry is an expert planner who worked in the Governor’s Office of Research and Planning for more than a dozen years before becoming a private-sector senior environmental consultant.
UC typically charges $400 per person for this workshop, but because of the co-sponsorships, we can make it available to interested parties for $125 per person (including lunch)—or $100 per person for three or more registrants from a single agency or organization.
The workshop was limited to 30 people and is now full, with a waiting list. But If you'd like to check on available slots or ask for more information, e-mail Carolyn or call 209-223-3508, M-Th, 9-2.
