Conservancy website provides resources for conservation education
“We received the sweetest e-mail from a teacher from the Old Louisville Student Conservation Association,’ said Foothill Conservancy’s Executive Director, Amanda Nelson. “Ms. Ainsworth was helping elementary school students who were looking for conservation resources and found our site. The students found some great information about conservation on the site, along with some useful links.

“In order to thank us, the students sent back a link to a site on backyard conservation, and suggested that we post a link for others to use. We did that, and then wrote back to let the students know of our action.

We know our website is a great resource, even though it needs modernizing. It’s great to know that others -- especially young people -- find it useful.
