Sierra Nevada Film Festival - Date has been changed

Originally scheduled for Nov. 10, showing now on Nov. 17. There will be several short films with two feature films; Sheltered in Oak is about an Iranian squirrel's life in oak trees of the Ilam Province's oak forest, with many dangers posed by fellow forest inhabitants and humans and Vanishing Coral about the devastating effects of warming oceans and bleaching events within the “coral triangle” of southeast Asia, and powerfully illustrates what some dedicated scientists and environmental activists are doing to save these unique coral populations. Short films are Time, Forgotten but not Gone: the Pacific Fisher, Turtle on a Fence Post, Fish, The Can, L'estoc, and FIFO.

If you purchased tickets for the November 10, 2018 screening, they will be honored at the November 17, 2018 screening. If you would like a refund, please email Sierra Film Fest and they'll process a refund.

Doors open at 5:45pm and the program begins at 6:00.
