Richard “Rick” Standiford, Ph.D., former Vice President of the Agricultural and Natural Resources Division of the University of California will speak at the Calaveras County Library. He will discuss the value of oaks in the landscape, how oaks impact property values, general oak ecology and techniques for protecting and preserving oak woodlands.
